wherein: tetracontakaidigon posts stuff sometimes

yes, you. All three of you who might see this. Wait, no, four, five if I’m lucky.

I am considering posting more here. it’s just that November and December were at the point where I was crying from lack of time and everything was a sleep-deprived haze that I was painfully falling through and not caring about. I don’t know if the new year will be better, actually. (do not worry about me and I will do fine. merely hope that I will succeed, and help when you can- that’s what keeps me afloat)

I am considering password-protecting some of my future posts, with something obvious. I am also considering no longer caring what I post and what people think. I am also considering no longer posting things I wouldn’t want everyone to see.

I am considering lots of things. Some are bad ideas. Some are not. Only time will tell.

I will next visit in a few weeks, when I find out how my poem did at Reflections (the ceremony, which I will likely skip, is the 11th.)

regarding the lack of posts May 31, 2009

so: I have some stuff that I could post if I bothered to find the camera and USB cable and act witty or at least sarcastic for a while… maybe if you yell at me to be active here, then I will, after exams.

which should I put up/do (first):

1. Powerbook 1400ce, pictures/love affair with a laptop older than I am, resolving issues with hard drive
2. I reformatted/reinstalled the contents of singularity again (I’ve done that yet again since then), and took pictures this time- windows 98 fails, and at that time gentoo almost but didn’t work.
3. as close to fashion as I get: steampunk-esque welding goggles and SCA clothes for this summer
4. very small turtle was outside and temporarily was captured and terrified
5. IBM terminal emulator (I’m in my room now, can’t remember the serial number): holy crap, this thing still even turns on?
6. Windows 95 computer: Myst works, I relive my childhood (wonder if I can find the Tomb Raider game I used to watch Dad playing? or connect to the internet…)
7. suggest something for me to do with the Mac SEs, preferably with the one that has a failed hard drive
8. mother says she may give me her thinkpad T40 once she gets a new computer this summer: I’m sure I can find some use for it, or at least devote it to World Community Grid.
9. I can post, right now, either paradoxically depressed or sickeningly sweet poetry. Or maybe some of the nonserious things I was writing while we studied poetry in English class. Like the couplet in iambic nanometer about writing in iambic nanometer.
10. perhaps someday I will finish another short story. which is more important to you: robotic marching band -or- omegle chat? not that I will care, I’ll work on whichever I feel inspired about…
11. learn something else on guitar, just for all four readers here. or practice my (trombone) NYSSMA solo more and offer it up online, because I couldn’t find a recording of it when I was learning and I wanted one.
